Fact-Checking Policy

Our verification standard

  1. Find the primary source: the issuing department's official website, portal, notification or press release.
  2. Record the source URL, publisher, source publication date and the exact claim it supports.
  3. Cross-check amounts, dates and eligibility wording character-for-character against the source.
  4. Mark anything not confirmed as unconfirmed in the article, or leave it out.
  5. Stamp the article with a last verified date and re-verify on every update.
